Business Ads & White Papers

In 2017, Dropbox had a huge brand overhaul that required applying their updated branding for their main and auxiliary brands.

Our team at Design In Mind were then asked to absorb the new branding and assist in creating business ads as well as updating their large array of white papers up to the current branding.

White Paper

These white papers came with a starting brand guidelines from DropBox. As our team of designers flushed out 50+ white papers for the company, we ran into new issues that didn’t have solutions.

Such as unique texts that ran as callouts, having an additional column and running quotes.

There was a great collaboration and sync with the agency & the internal team at DropBox.

Business Ads

The DropBox Business Ads was a fun project to work on. At first, it almost seemed too simple but the challenge truly was being within brand guidelines but solving for type structure, layout as well as working within advertising rules such as Facebook Ads. At the same, there was new software from Facebook that limited ads to 20% of the visual to type. This was to create more visually stunning ads for their end user.

However, with DropBox launching an entire brand refresh with mainly type and color. We ran into issues.

There was constant testing between the Facebook / ad software with the team at DropBox.
